'A Call From Home' is a completely handwoven art collection inspired by a handful of personal experiences and memories, capturing the theme of nostalgia. As someone who has been fortunate enough to travel to a handful of amazing countries and locations, I have been inspired by the lyrical colours and beauty that paint and form cities around the world. My aim throughout this collection is to bring the feeling of comforting memories and nostalgia into the home throughout my series of woven art pieces. Throughout my degree it has been apparent that I am a keen lover for colour and playfulness and this is something I have mirrored throughout this final collection. With travelling being a large sector of my life, this is something I hope to continue in the future within my career journey hopefully within the buying industry.
