I am a final-year BA (Hons) Textile Design student, specialising in Weave. My main interests revolves around gaining inspiration from the natural beauty in order to produce ideas for interior upholstery. My final year project, 'It's The Journey,' delves deeper into the natural environment. Inspired by traditional English countryside interiors, I designed a line of woven pieces for children's bedroom interiors. Furthermore, to produce a collection that appreciates quality pieces that can be cherished and kept for years to come without going out of style. I have a tremendous interest for using colour in my work; for this collection, I muted down the colour to meet my research and to make the space calming and comforting. Following graduation, I plan to continue honing the abilities I obtained at university in preparation for a position in the textile industry.
