'Kitsch and Caboodle' is a womenswear fashion collection branded with the consumer of the maximalist lifestyle in mind. Inspired by my visual product '#Cluttercore: Aesthetic Hoarding, Collection, and the Resurgence of Kitsch', the brand is an accumulation of all things bright, bold and the "tacky" opinions of taste. Through my university experience I have specialised in print design whilst often crossing into different mediums such as digital embroidery and crochet. Using textures and patterns to produce repeats, considered placements and signature motifs to encapsulate my personal handwriting. After gaining insight into industry through the burton menswear competition and placing runner up in the Sanderson design live brief, I am looking forward to starting my career as a print designer in both the fashion and interiors industry.
