'Greenthumbed Fables' is a colourfully illustrated collection focused on bringing the classic tale of ‘The Secret Garden’ to life. Drawing inspiration from beautifully illustrated literature, and historical art movements such as fauvism and impressionism, this collection captures the British countryside and is centred around British heritage. Exploring the playful, expressive garden through the combination of traditional hand techniques with digital design, 'Greenthumbed Fables', promotes emotional investment and artistry where pieces are designed to be passed down generationally. My design handwriting is characterised by my strong use of drawing skills, painting skills and eye for colour. I can apply my design skills to different live briefs including the Dulux brief and AGA competition. I am passionate about artistry, and I am looking forward to furthering my skills as a print designer within the industry.
