Throughout my time at university I have explored my own style within different briefs, through adaption and exploration, whilst utilising the skills I have acquired. In my final and third year of BA (Hons) Textile Design, I have specialised in weave. For my final major project, I have based my work around the "Club Kids Scene" of the American 80's. This brief has pushed me out of my comfort zone and allowed me to be more daring and experimental with my approach to colour, materials and composition., which I have enjoyed. After graduating I would like to venture into the world of theatre costume design, as I believe this route will allow me to create to outlandish playful designs without limits.
