This collection explores the interaction between androids and humans, investigating how these two entities influence and manipulate one another in shaping visual concepts. Inspired by historical depictions of androids, my work reimagines how they might exist in today’s world, placing a strong emphasis on metallic textures, intricate patterns, and reflective surfaces to push the boundaries of knitwear and textiles. The colour palette is informed by the structured aesthetics of the grid and the influence of key art movements, further reinforcing the futuristic theme. Historically envisioned as metallic beings, androids remain central to my project, where I reinterpret these classic visions through a contemporary lens, merging past imagination with present innovation.
