I’m Varsha Kanugula, a fashion design postgraduate exploring the emotional tension between beauty and decay. My work often draws from themes like fading memories, death, and transformation, crafting garments that feel both unsettling and euphoric. I enjoy layering embroidery, texture, and silhouette to tell intimate stories through fabric. After completing my BA in India, I had the opportunity to showcase my collection at GR X London Fashion Week, an experience that deepened my commitment to building a meaningful, sustainable brand. Now studying in the UK, I’m developing a new body of work that experiments with 3D software, fabric manipulation, and hand-crafted detail. I’m passionate about collaborating with others who value storytelling, sustainability, and bold femininity. Whether through textiles or digital design, my goal is to create work that resonates, visually striking pieces that carry emotion and narrative.
