I am a final year student in the MFA Fine Art program, and my artistic journey explores the concept of ‘home’ - What is home? Where is home? Who is home? I delve into the depths of human emotion and experience, drawing inspiration from the complexities of life. I also research themes of temporality, movement, the unknown and relocation. My work is based around personal experiences and the everyday, often reflecting autobiographical moments and spaces of transition. During my bachelor's degree I was awarded the Fine Art Ambition Award for my use of sustainability, a practice I have carried forward into my masters. I embrace sustainability by incorporating found objects into my work, even going dumpster diving to uncover hidden treasures. My aim in life is to become an art teacher for further education around the globe, where I can share my passion of creativity and inspire students to explore their artistic potential.
