I am a final year BA (Hons) Fashion Knitwear and Knitted Textiles student exploring identity, culture, and innovation through knitwear and digital design. My graduate collection, Homeland Continuum, blends my Nigerian heritage with my British urban upbringing. Using Shima Seiki, Dubied, and Domestic knitting machines, I create expressive, structural designs that challenge traditional knitwear by combining bold textures, and unexpected materials. Inspired by architecture, ancient languages, weather, and cultural scenery, I translate personal narratives into physical pieces and digital collages. After a placement year at Lauren Richards, supporting design for major retailers, I developed strong skills in product development and trend research. I aim to continue building a bold portfolio and pursue roles in urban fashion that combine storytelling with innovation.
