I am particularly interested in an eastern Buddhism notion named as “Nothingness.” It is a call for us to let things go and stay as it is. As there would not be you and I in a hundred years, so why does anything actually matter? This concept is expressed through sustainable fashion practices, such as zero waste, digital toiling in Clo 3D and the use of surplus fabrics. This collection is to emphasise the potential of no waste design in ready-to-wear garments, with the focus of seasonless, low-care and comfort in the actual wearing experience. After all, these garments are meant to be worn for life. I hope to expend this collection into my own sustainable fashion brand and popularise zero waste design into the mass market.
