I am an MA Graphic Communication student. I believe that visual communication is not just about making things look good — it’s about finding a way to express how I understand society, culture, and identity through visual language. For me, creative work is not only a tool for self-expression but also a way to respond to real-world issues and provoke reflection. That’s why I want my work to be meaningful, emotional, and intellectually engaging. Over the past year, I’ve come to realize that while improving technical skills is important, what truly gives power to a piece of work is awareness — how we understand visual symbols, the narrative strategies we choose, and how sensitive we are to the cultural context we’re working in. These factors shape whether a project is simply “well-designed” or genuinely thought-provoking. I don’t want to be someone who just completes tasks; I want to be the kind of designer who constantly asks questions, challenges assumptions.
