I’m a final year BA (Hons) Fine Art student based in Nottingham. As an Italian-Dutch artist, having grown up in India, Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Manila and Hong Kong, I’ve had the privilege of being surrounded by a spectacular variety of art. I’ve gathered and collected souvenirs from all over the world, and yet nothing has made me feel closer to my home than when I’ve created my own mementos. With my choice of installation artwork, I encourage my viewers to bask in the rawness and intimacy of my work. Working with casting and ceramics gives me the power to isolate each one of my memories and freeze them within sculptures. I enjoy the closeness I feel with creating everything from zero. After graduating, I plan to complete a masters in graphic communication design, in hopes of continuing my exploration of communicating through art.
