Madeleine Clark
I am Madeleine Clark, a final year student in BA (Hons) Costume Design and Making at Nottingham Trent University. I am passionate about the evolution of dress and the social history of clothing and how I can use this knowledge to craft innovative and creative garments inspired by history. Most recently, I have been given the opportunity to work alongside Ninya Mikhaila of the Tudor Tailor to research and recreate a unique garment of the 17th century which has strengthened my historical research and construction skills. Alongside my historical work I also have a passion for corsetry, which I have expressed in both traditionally historical and creative means. My experience and knowledge learned overall has led me to aspire to work within a museum setting, sharing my passion with others.
