I am a final year BA (Hons) Costume Design and Construction student, with a keen focus on costume making as my specialty. Throughout my time at university, I have expanded my knowledge and skills within the design and making process, which developed my understanding of curating designs purposed for functionality and characterisation. Throughout the time building my process as a creative, I found that my skills and eagerness were stronger with making. Elements of interest particularly lay with embroidery, historically accuracy, and finishing done by hand to infiltrate character realisation and fit for purpose costumes. I would love to connect with creatives in the film/TV industry, to collaborate and expand my network whist working under a costume trainee or maker role.
