I am final year students studying BA (Hons) Design for Stage and Screen (Costume Design and Construction) at NTU. Throughout my final year, I have found a love for historical and fantasy costumes. I got the chance to explore fantasy further in my two final projects. ‘Cinderellas pantomime’ where I recreated my version of the Dame called Chlorine. For my final year self-guided project, I chose to recreate one of Terry Pratchett beloved novels, ‘Equal Rites’ as a TV series in which I chose to make the well known character DEATH. These projects allowed me to advance my knowledge with mixed material such as foam and worbla in which I had not got the chance to use much in the past. In the future I look forward to push these materials further as I love working with 3D elements. I also look forward to learning more about construction and trying out some more leather works, as it has really captured my fascination.
