Caitlin DeLaRosa-Rodriguez
I am a BA (Hons) Design for Stage and Screen (Costume Design and Construction) final year student who specializes in millinery, embellishment, and textile work. Throughout my time as a student from foundation to university, I have completed a multitude of practical and theoretical projects within film, theatre, and fashion spaces. I have pushed myself to expand my skill set in my design and construction practice. I am most passionate about the fine details of costumes that create rich textures and movement. I have practical making skills in embroidery, goldwork, and beading. I am also well experienced in breaking down, mending, and repurposing. Outside of my costume work, I am a textile artist that creates work around environmentalism, feminism, and personal identity.
