My name is Amy Cooper and I am a final year BA (Hons) Fashion Design student. I have always been passionate about creating unique and innovative designs that push the boundaries of traditional fashion. Here I have begun to develop my own approaches towards woman’s fashion and have been working on a product range developing my own lace inspired designs. My work has mainly taken influence from the romantic period. I began to feel restricted by the limitations of traditional feminine fashion. I wanted to create designs that were more androgynous, more daring, and more inclusive. I plan to continue to use the skills I have developed at NTU and carry them into my practice after I graduate.
