Rosaline Dias

I'm a final year BA (Hons) Fine Art student at Nottingham, and my practice is based on sensory experiences, playfulness, and texture. I love working with textiles and crochet, finding joy in colour, shape, and the therapeutic process of making. I love how my senses shape our everyday experiences, and I want my work to inspire curiosity and comfort in others. One of my favourite pieces, Spacing Out, seem to be a black square from a distance, but up close, it reveals soft, chaotic yarn textures that invite touch and surprise. I love creating moments where people aren't quite sure what to feel — giving them space to interpret freely. Earlier this year, I exhibited in Tethered Transitions at Surface Gallery. After graduating, I hope to train as an art therapist, using creativity to support emotional wellbeing.
