My research-based practice focuses on architecture as I collect and respond to an archive of materials and research taken from my environment. The process of manual editing and reproduction becomes essential to my practice as I respond to and create a dialogue with the architecture I am working within. This research results in outcomes in various mediums, most notably blueprint-like sculptural assemblages. I transform information into artworks thought the categorisation and reassembly of materials. Process and cycles of layering are crucial to my work, and are aided by digital prints, collage and transparent materials. A strand of replication I am perusing revolves around the materiality of concrete. Replicating the materials using eggshell ceramics, I use waste and offcuts of other processes to form my works.
