Imani Bernard

I am a final year BA (Hons) Fashion Design student exploring the intersection between fashion, gaming, and digital identity. My final major project WEBDROBE puts forward a conceptual console game where users create true-to-size avatars to virtually try on clothing from my collection, which is then made to order. The game reimagines the retail experience through immersive technology, with inclusivity and sustainability at its core. Inspired by gorp-core, techwear and street style, my designs are informed by gaming culture and futuristic aesthetics, using 3D software such as CLO3D to visualise digital garments alongside physical samples. I am passionate about using fashion as a tool for storytelling and self-expression, especially in digital spaces where identity becomes fluid and interactive. I feel confident communicating my collection visually through renders, digital art direction and concept-driven branding. Looking ahead, I aim to build a carer that works in-between these realms.
