My name is Evie Morgan, and I am currently studying Fashion Design (BA) at Nottingham Trent University, where I specialise in menswear. My practice is driven by a strong interest in textile embellishment, with a particular focus on beading and embroidery. I am passionate about exploring how opulent techniques can be reinterpreted within contemporary menswear design. My work often seeks to challenge conventional notions of masculinity through the integration of intricate, hand-crafted detailing, with an emphasis on weaving a story. I adore drawing inspiration from hedonistic themes in past artistic eras. I have an interest in myth, primarily the idea that something enthralling and enchanting, will often have a darker undertone.
