Over the past three years whilst studying BA (Hons) Fashion Marketing and Branding, I have developed a range of hard and soft skills, including visual communication, Adobe design, analytical thinking, and presentation skills. A highlight was my 9-week placement with Derbyshire based Dog and Spoon Distillery, where I gained hands-on experience managing social media, writing newsletters, supporting product design, and assisting at events in Birmingham, Shrewsbury, and Nottingham. Earlier this year, I completed my Stage 17,000-word research report on how traditional nightlife spaces meet the evolving needs of women, drawing insights from both real women and industry experts such as Michael Kill, CEO of the Night Time Industries Association, and achieved a First. Although my time on FMB is coming to an end, I’m excited to see what the future holds postgraduate!
