As a final year student pursuing a BA (Hons) Fashion Design, I have spent the past three years immersing myself in the fashion world. My studies have ignited a passion for fashion trends, sustainability and visual art. During my time in Nottingham, I have developed diverse skills, including pattern cutting and manufacturing. However, it is the process of researching fashion movements and sustainability that I find most fulfilling. I recently participated in the Crisis X Graduate Fashion Foundation 'Love not Landfill' competition, where I created an upcycled outfit that incorporated the concept of sustainability and nostalgia. My design won the competition, and I am inspired to continue pushing myself in the fashion industry. I plan to pursue a master's degree to explore the fashion marketing aspect further.
