I am graduating from Nottingham Trent University in 2023 with a bachelor's degree in Design for Stage and Screen: Costume Design and Construction. I am an aspiring film production artist specialising in creative direction and the design of costume and prop elements for the screen. My interests lie in character-based storytelling, immersive world-building and escapism. This first costume is from a project called 'Goblin Self-Portrait' which took inspiration from the philosophies of identity worked on by Surrealist women artists during the 1930s. It sought to explore the relationship between the obscuring and the emancipation of the female image. The other costume is from the Delfont Mackintosh visionary project wherein I created the design for a contemporary dance routine, based around a rain effect on stage.
