I am a final year BA (Hons) Fashion, Knitwear and Knitted Textiles student. My project is all to do with the relationship I have for home and the importance of family. Growing up in the countryside has heavily influenced my work and using natural forms and motifs has meant I have been able to be playful with my designs. Sustainability is also a huge influence for me, as we are becoming more aware of the shocking impact that the fashion industry is having on our planet the need for sustainable materials is needed now more than ever. This is why 100% of my collection is made from repurposed and second-hand yarns to give them a new lease of life. I hope to continue designing in a planet conscious way after university.
