I have been passionate about fashion design since a young age, and being a fashion designer has always been my dream. Throughout my years at university, I have found my path to be a feminist fashion designer and fight for justice through my designs. In my second year, my concept was the ridiculous beauty standard from the male gaze, such as body shaming. I have created irregular sleeves for my tailored jacket with blue organzas. During the process of pattern cutting, it took me a lot of time to figure out how to make it look puffy and irregular without making the material too thick. My most proud moment was when I completed my garment in the studio as everyone came by and complimented my jacket. The compliments were so satisfying and it made the time I spent on the garment all worth it. I have conutnied on this path for my final year and I will continue it in the future.
