My time at university has helped me find my passion for construction and management in the theatre world. As well as my love for model making which became my main focus for my final design and making project. My first taste of theatre was seeing 'The 39 Steps' and I found the simplicity of the design and the creativity of the performance incredibly inspiring. Although I have a love for traditional theatre, my favourite type of theatre are ones that take place in unlikely spaces and are more immersive. My technical skills, such as: Photoshop, AutoCAD and Sketchup, in addition to my drawing and model making skills, come in useful as a visual communicator and learner. Since I was a teenager I would help care for my Aunt which influenced me to write my dissertation on disability in theatre and the importance of inclusivity. The more research I did on the topic the more interested I became in working with integrated theatre companies and creating accessible shows.
