I am a final year BA (Hons) Fashion Knitwear Design and Knitted Textiles student. Over the past three years, I have been cultivated artistically through my degree whilst also being challenged to explore past the limits of my skills. I have been given the opportunity to study the fundamentals of different knitted fabrics and to source specific yarns and fibres that allow me to design the perfect fabric. My favourite project throughout my degree has been my final major project during third year called ‘The Divine Femininity’. I’ve been able to explore skills of embroidery and embellishment whilst also constructing a colour palette that reflects the femininity and power of my project. After graduating, I hope to continue my design work and find my own voice through starting side projects and travelling to discover my creativity through the experience of different cultures.
