I’m Tamara Patchett (she/her), a BA (Hons) Fashion Communication and Promotion student based in Nottinghamshire. My practice is rooted in digital design and concept-led communication, using visual storytelling to explore and share ideas. My work is shaped by an interest in localism and community activism, particularly how contemporary socio-economic and political structures influence lives. I explore this in my recent project, Post Algorithmic Thought. I’m interested in creating work that engages audiences and encourages a more critical awareness of the world around them, prompting reflection and change. I’m currently exploring how to expand my practice through writing, with a growing interest in creative writing and fashion journalism. I aim to bring together visual storytelling and written content, expanding how I communicate ideas.
