My Final Major Project is about connecting with materials and slowing down when creating. My process involved a lot of research of historic making techniques such as hand embroidery, hand knitting and hand sewing combined with more modern approaches of making used in the industry. I am personally very interested the in pattern cutting and manufacturing process of the project focusing in clean and well-made manufacture. I am very passionate about sustainability so I tried to use mainly natural fibres and slow making when it came to the production. My goal with this project is to create Future Heirlooms. After graduating I plan going more into pattern cutting doing a Masters as well as doing an internship to get experience in the industry.
