I am a final year BA (Hons) Fashion Design student. My graduate collection is an embodiment of human-centred design, with a keen interest in technical outerwear. I aim to provide a collection that lasts. As I reflect on my journey as an individual, I draw on my knowledge of sustainable approaches to improve my engagement with clothing and my understanding of the menstrual cycle to further enhance product quality. I believe in the value of fostering garments first-hand as a design fundamental. What I imagine for my design aesthetic moving forward is the rise of upcycled fashion to curate advanced silhouettes and styles. I will demonstrate this by using pre-existing clothes as the main source of my materials.
