I am a final-year BA (Hons) Fashion Design student at Nottingham Trent University, having transferred from Pearl Academy in India. My practice explores the space between concept and wearability, where ideas remain subtle but intentional.
I am particularly interested in textiles and material exploration, often working across embroidery, knitting, crochet, and biomaterials. I enjoy approaching design in a tactile way, where making becomes part of the thinking process.
Alongside my studies, I have gained industry experience through freelance projects, a live project with sustainable designer Pratyush Kumar for Pieux, and an internship at Shades of India. I have also worked on FDCI shows, which introduced me to the fast-paced nature of fashion production.
I developed a resort wear line inspired by No Nasties, exploring simplicity and conscious design.
My work continues to explore identity and emotional transitions through clothing, while remaining grounded in real-world wearability.
