I am a final year BA (Hons) Textiles Design student specialising in print design with a passion for florals and hand-painted illustration. My concepts are often very personal to me, as they showcase my artistic style while exploring my identity within femininity. Florals are a strong part of my personal handwriting, but I also believe it is important to go beyond the bloom and highlight the environmental issues surrounding our ecosystems and the wildlife living amongst us.
With butterfly decline rates increasing in the UK, I aim to use my print design skills to raise awareness and inspire others to notice these environmental concerns through creative storytelling in my work.
Surface Pattern within product design is something I am very passionate about pursuing in the future. I find great reward in creating designs that can be applied to products people interact with and enjoy in their everyday lives.
