Hi, I’m Emily, and I specialise in printed textile design. ‘Reverie’, is a high-end interiors collection, designed to provide a fantastical escape for its consumers. Storytelling and character are at the heart of this collection. I have adapted nostalgic elements from childhood fairytales to create a sophisticated and enchanting environment. The pieces playfully explore a balance of hand-printing techniques, and digital drawing and colouration, with texture as a priority. Throughout my time at university, I have taken part in multiple live briefs, within interiors and fashion, to expand my knowledge of application, scale and commerciality. My success with briefs delivered by Ashley Wilde and Paul Vogel has led to opportunities involving placement, sponsorship, and presenting my designs to buying teams within the industry. I hope to continue my exploration of storytelling whilst working as an in-house designer for an interiors-focused company.
