I am a BA (Hons) Fashion Design student focusing on womenswear for my graduating year. My Final Major Project is based around rape culture and objectification, drawing from inspiration such as artist Tracey Emin, designer Alexander McQueen and the controversial 2000's American Apparel adverts. Through my dissertation and practice I have aimed to create a more open, accessible and less-triggering conversation around rape culture and sexual violence. My future plans are to hopefully get a job in the fashion industry, with my ideal role being a garment technologist. The first images are from my FMP and the others include projects I've worked on throughout university.
