I am a final year BA (Hons) theatre design student who came to Nottingham to study Theatre Design. I have always loved theatre and the aspect of the design. Before attending university, I was a part of Curve Young Company Tech, this covered all the basics of theatre making, due to this I wanted to attend Nottingham to develop my skills in design. In my course I have developed skills in making and designing for theatre, especially within prop making and scenic painting. During third year I was asked to help on a grad films called ‘March On” based in the UK 80s. I made props and set dressed. This made me more excited to get into the field of working in design. After I graduate I hope to continue to design and make props as well as learning new skills and interests.
