With a background in carpentry, blacksmith and amateur dramatics, and aspersions in prop making and historical reproduction, BA(H) Des Theatre & Live Performance has been an invaluable deep dive into the people and industry that support the arts and industries I wish to integrate into my creative career. The open ended approach and diverse mediums explored on this course has help facilitate what line of work and which skills I wish to pursue moving forward. As well as familiarise myself with the relevant people and communities.
