Drawn to the energy of live performance, I went on to study Theatre Design at Nottingham Trent University. Studying here has shaped my approach to stage design, where I aim to create work that goes beyond being a backdrop and actively interacts with performers and audiences. As part of National Theatre Connections, I collaborated with Nottingham Playhouse on Wildfire Road. Projection was a central element of the stage, so I developed the full projection content alongside set and costume design. I also worked as a Live Programmes intern at Nottingham Contemporary for three months, which deepened my understanding of live performance. In addition, I am familiar with a wide range of design tools including AutoCAD, SketchUp, Twinmotion, Adobe Creative Suite, and projection mapping software. My three years at NTU have led me to realise what I enjoy and what I want to pursue in the future. I hope to continue working in theatre, designing stages that leave a lasting impression on audiences.
