Diya Parikh

I am Diya Parikh a BA (Hons) Fashion Design graduate currently based in Nottingham specialising in unisex and menswear, with a focus on androgynous design. My practice challenges traditional ideas of gender in fashion, creating garments that are fluid, expressive, and accessible to all. Inspired by my cultural roots while navigating a modern, westernised identity, I explore how clothing can exist between heritage and contemporary expression. I am particularly interested in how silhouette, texture, and construction can redefine identity and allow individuals to exist beyond labels. Throughout my studies, I have developed my approach to design, creating one-of-a-kind pieces that balance individuality with wearability. Moving forward, I aim to contribute to a more inclusive fashion industry by building a practice that celebrates self-expression and blurs the boundaries of gender and culture.
