I am a final year fashion knitwear student with a particular love for colour and pattern. My final major project “Taste From A Certain Place” is based around where our individual taste’s for fashion and interiors come from, I have mainly used my childhood home for inspiration, as well as including my own personal taste - the love of bright colours. This project celebrates bursts of patterns, colours and shapes. I am particularly passionate about sustainability and have utilised dead-stock yarns for most of my collection as well as yarns from sponsorship, from UPW. I have conveyed differing colours and patterns through modern menswear silhouettes, using pleating, jacquard and striping techniques as the focus. I am a passionate designer eager to enter into the knitwear or textiles industry after completing my degree.
