My name is Amy Howlett (she/her) and I am a final year BA (Hons) Costume design and construction student. I am from London and am currently based in Norfolk. My interest in costume stems from my love of theatre. I have therefore specialised my projects to be for this art form, designing for both ‘Oliver’ and ‘La Cage aux Folles’. I also completed work experience related to this field alongside my studies, costuming for an external school production of ‘We Will Rock You’. Throughout this course, I have developed a passion for designing, and utilise skills such as collage and photoshop to develop my ideas. Within my making, I enjoy exploring and combining textiles techniques, with a particular focus on digital print. After graduating, I hope to pursue my passion for theatrical costuming, and am always on the lookout for collaborations within this field.
