Alfie O'Loughlin

I am Alfie Oloughlin, a BA (Hons) Fashion Marketing and Branding student creating bold visuals built through chaos, texture and storytelling. My work lives in distorted typography, layered graphics and raw image editing, rejecting clean aesthetics in favour of something louder, darker and more expressive. Living with hearing loss has shaped the way I experience the world, pushing me to communicate visually and find meaning through design. My practice turns imperfection into impact, embracing mistakes and using them as part of the final piece. David Carson remains a key influence, inspiring my love for disruptive layouts and rule-breaking design. A highlight of my time at Nottingham Trent University was presenting a campaign concept at Clarks headquarters. Looking ahead, I want to create fearless editorial work and build a career where creativity never gets polished down.
