Textile exploration is always at the heart of my designs. I have enjoyed the opportunity to enhance my skills in fashion knitwear, which has allowed me to translate the passion I have for colour and texture into garments. I love exploring new knit techniques to create pieces that are unexpected. I often incorporate other materials such as wire and leather into my work to push the capabilities my fabric designs have. I am often influenced by my own photography and am intrigued by how I can reflect my own experience into the designs I create. I love to experiment with different silhouettes and have enjoyed designing garments as well as accessory pieces for my Masters collection Day to Night. Upon graduating I hope to enter the knitwear design industry, continue to refine my skills and explore how my ideas can be developed in a more commercial setting.
