Throughout studying BA (H) Costume Design and Construction, I’ve loved developing a skillset in tailoring, millinery, leatherwork and intricate detailing such as laser-cut techniques. Having a strong passion for reimagining familiar stories, I often blend historical foundations with modern or fantastical elements through fabric choice and construction methods, creating imaginative costumes well-suited for screen. Alongside my degree, I have completed the Professional Practice Certificate, which included a commission making the official outfit for a High Sheriff, and have gained hands-on experience working as a costume trainee across a range of film and TV productions. From independent companies to major networks such as the BBC; across the Midlands and the North West. Combining technical construction skills with design versatility, supported by practical industry experience, the goal is to continue developing within both on-set and behind-the-scenes roles supporting costume for screen!
