Each costume I make is a love letter to something deeply personal in my life. Whether it be experiences I have had, or an expression of something I adore, I put care into each element of my design and construction work. I have experimented with a broad range of specialisms during my time at NTU, exploring prop making, costume breakdown, historical design and corsetry - but most vividly, I adore live music and performance, and my best works reflect this passion. I find particular joy in embellishing and detail work, and enjoy marrying fine details with large silhouettes to create a costume that can be appreciated from one metre away or one hundred. I intend to take these skills forward to work with music artists interested in shining on stage.
