I am a final year BA (Hons) Fashion Knitwear Design and Knitted Textiles student. ‘Back to Glenbrack’ an 8-piece menswear collection focuses on themes of heritage and the comfort found in sharing memories and stories of a loved one who has passed. I have taken inspiration from the landscape of Ireland using family photos to inform the classic workwear silhouettes and colour palette. After graduating, I hope to work for a knitwear brand that focuses on producing quality garments that are made using sustainable practices with an attention to the team involved. I enjoy the technical problem solving involved with knitting machinery and aim to find a role that can enhance my skills further whilst allowing me creative involvement in fabric and garment development.
