As a final year fashion design student, I specialise in blending heritage crafts with contemporary fashion. My collection, Threads Layered in Luxury, merges haute couture-ready to wear with traditional Kantha embroidery, handcrafted by rural women of Bengal. Through layered textures and refined silhouettes, I reinterpret this storytelling craft into modern luxury. It’s warmth and structure, craft and innovation that is being stitched together. I approach design with clarity and purpose, supported by strong 2D communication and digital presentation skills. With strong 2D visual communication skills, I translate ideas into evocative sketches, tech drawings, and digital designs. My work reflects passion for craftsmanship, innovation and attention to design detailing. I aspire to work with leading couture houses such as Dior, Gucci, or Chanel, and eventually launch my own label that fuses diverse global cultures.
