The Garden of Amazonia presents intricately crafted prints and organic textures that illustrate the endangered inhabitants of the Amazon Rainforest. My work draws inspiration from the wildlife and fragility of the Amazon rainforest while also exploring the many species that are threatened by deforestation as a result of the textile industry. Blending fashion and interior applications, the collection celebrates not only the beauty of biodiversity, but also the vulnerability, with many of my designs using faded, earthy tones to symbolise the endangered status and loss of habitats. Throughout my degree, I have been able to gain valuable experience through industry live briefs and competitions. I am looking forward to my journey in the print industry and the opportunities of working professionally in design.
