I’m a final year BA (Hons) Fine Art student at Nottingham Trent University, with a practice rooted in abstract landscape painting. Using acrylic on canvas, I create dreamlike, atmospheric scenes inspired by nature, literature, and photography. I’m fascinated by how light, colour, and texture can evoke memory, emotion, and imagination, turning familiar landscapes into spaces of calm and escape. I work as a SEN teaching assistant in a special needs school, which has deepened my interest in the therapeutic potential of creativity. I’m especially drawn to how art can support emotional expression, confidence, and connection, something I hope to explore further through a future career in art/ occupational therapy. I also enjoy digital marketing, earning an Advanced Completion Badge from the Digital Marketing Academy and managing social media for the NTU Fine Art Degree Showcase. After graduating, I hope to combine my creative and caring passions in a meaningful and supportive role.
