With a passion for art and film, I instantly knew that this course was the perfect choice for me. Not only have I learnt many skills to take forward into the industry, but I have also developed my creativity with the encouragement of my weird and wonderful set design projects. From designing expansive underground library labyrinths, to designing a fictional imagining of the future of Venice, now submerged and populated by tropical plants and animals, I have a passion for creating new worlds and seeing how far I can stretch my imagination to produce something unique and eye-catching. I have learnt how to communicate my designs through technical drawings and model-making (both physically and digitally), concept visualisations, storyboards and prop designs, all of which I have enjoyed learning about and developing over my time at university. I am ready to take my creative mindset and the skills I have learnt into the film and TV industry as I start this new and exciting chapter.
